Sam started walking a few weeks ago.

Almost One Year

The boys turn one year old in a little less than 2 weeks. They are doing great. Ben is walking and climbing and getting into everything he can find to get into. Ben has six teeth and likes to try them out on his brother's leg. Sam is really starting to make progress on sitting up and climbing up to standing. He isn't crawling yet, but seems to cover a lot of ground by wiggling and rolling. No teeth for Sam yet, but he somehow eats lots of grown-up food without them. I still haven't figured out how that works.

They love balls, trucks, anything electronic, and using Grandpa Ron as a stool to look out the front window. The boys took their first plane ride a couple weeks ago visiting Grandma Pat on her birthday. The little guys did great on the trip. Only issue was Daddy getting whacked multiple times with a cane by an old lady in the airport.

Meeting my commitment

I promised my sister and cousin (not the same person) that I would update some pictures of the boys over the weekend and I'm all about meeting my commitments ... most of the time.

The boys are doing very well. They're sleeping through the night most nights. Sam is sitting up great and is such a breath of fresh air. Ben is crawling and climbing on everything he can find.

8 months old

Sam and Ben hit the 8 month mark yesterday. Ben's energy knows no bounds. He is crawling and getting into anything he can find. Sam is starting to roll over and smiles constantly. Mama and I can't believe it's already been 8 months since we met these little guys.

Ben finally found an outlet for his boundless energy.

6 Months Old !!!

The boys turned 6 months today. We are having so much fun and feel so privileged to be their parents. Ben is a perpetual motion machine, rolling over onto his belly and/or kicking his legs constantly. He's still trying to master rolling from his belly to his back, but he's getting there. Sam has started to kick his legs a lot and is experimenting with rolling. He has a rather stiff approach to kicking his legs that looks like he's practicing for his Riverdance audition. Their 6 month checkup with the doctor is on Monday. We're looking forward to that.
